THE WEEKLY RHYTHM
Practice is the beginning.
Improvement completes it.
Every week connects to the one before it. Your child learns something, applies it, receives feedback and then uses that feedback.
- 01
Learn & practise
Download the weekly pack. Read an engaging text, study a model and work through focused reading and writing tasks.
- 02
Submit the work
Send clear photos or a scan of the completed pages. Plain typed work is also welcome. Tell Alex about any help your child used.
- 03
Get personal feedback
Alex reviews the work and sends personal feedback: a strength, a clear next step and a short improvement task.
- 04
Make it better
The next pack starts with time to act on that feedback. Save the revised work as evidence of progress.
AMBITIOUS FOUNDATIONS
English worth
thinking about.
Stories, poems, drama and arguments give students something worthwhile to read and something meaningful to say. Vocabulary, sentences and interpretation develop together.
The aim is a stronger foundation for ambitious GCSE English Language and Literature outcomes—including the skills high grades demand.

PROGRESS YOUR CHILD CAN SEE
“Look what I
can do now.”
A personal passport records specific skills and examples of improvement. Achievements recognise thoughtful revision and acting on feedback.
Students compare their work with their own earlier attempts. Parents receive a summary after six completed weeks and a fuller report after twelve, with examples and clear next steps.
