Your child writes their own answers. I personally mark their work, give them feedback and set a focused task that puts my feedback to use.
I'm Alex, a practising teacher with 20 years’ classroom experience and a degree in English Literature. Your child has a clear task, a submission date and the same teacher reading their work each week: me.

Reading, vocabulary and writing develop together. KS3 and GCSE practice follows a planned sequence that revisits earlier learning and builds towards more independent work. At A-level, Alex agrees a sequence around the student’s course and goals.
AI can help explain an idea. Reading an answer it produces is different from learning to write one yourself. Our practice develops the student’s own thinking and writing, by hand where that matches their exam format.
See the Year 8 sequenceI explain what your child has done well, identify a specific priority and show them how to tackle it. Then they practise that improvement.
Your child revises their answer using my guidance, then applies the skill in their next pack. You organise and send the work; you do not need to teach the lesson or mark it.

Alex replies within one working day with your lesson and dates, or a short question to match your course. GCSE Literature and A-level starts are confirmed after checking suitability.
Follow the explanations, models and tasks, then write independently. If your child will handwrite in exams, practise by hand using the workbook or labelled paper. We adapt the format for agreed access arrangements.
Reply to the pack email with photos, scans or typed answers. Alex personally marks the work and sends useful written feedback.
Complete the improvement task. You can then decide whether another week would be useful.
Our curriculum builds knowledge step by step, revisits earlier learning and provides clear models before independent practice. Alex uses pupils’ work to identify a useful next step, with time to act on the feedback.
These choices draw on research about prior knowledge, practice over time and feedback that moves learning forward. The research informs our design; it does not prove this programme’s effectiveness.
ONE COMPLETE WEEK. PERSONAL FEEDBACK INCLUDED.
Start with your email, the student’s first name and year. For GCSE and A-level, add the course details you know. Register each student separately.
No card. No subscription. No obligation.
The full feedback cycle is included; it does not expire seven days after registration. If you need more time, agree a revised date with Alex.
For KS3 and GCSE, optional continuation costs £30 for one week, £120 for four weeks or £330 for twelve weeks, as one-off payments. Any A-level continuation and price are agreed separately before payment.
For A-level, this request reserves a place while Alex checks course suitability. Your free week is confirmed by email; it includes the same personal feedback and improvement cycle.
